You may be surprised to find out that there are six golf courses in Jersey. With St Brelade's College you can enjoy some of these top courses, as well as improve your English. Choose between a standard or intensive English course and combine this with rounds of golf accompanied by one of our English teachers or golf lessons with a PGA professional (3 hours or 7.5 hours per week) for the perfect balance of English and golf.

English plus golf course key facts

• Lessons per week:
  Standard English + golf with English teacher - 20 English lessons (45 minutes per lesson), 3 afternoons of golf with an English teacher
  Standard English + standard golf with PGA - 20 English lessons, 2 golf lessons with PGA professional (3 hours total)
  Standard English + intensive golf with PGA - 20 English lessons, 3 golf lessons with PGA professional (7.5 hours total)
  Intensive English + standard golf with PGA - 30 English lessons, 2 golf lessons with PGA professional (3 hours total)

• Maximum class size: 9 students for English classes, up to 3 students for golf with English teacher, one-to-one golf lessons with PGA
• Course duration: 1-4 weeks
• Courses start: every Monday, all year round
• Minimum level of English: Elementary
• Minimum age: 18 years

The PGA professional will focus on stance, grip & posture, swing fundamentals, putting, chipping & pitching, bunker shots and will take you around a 9 hole course. Alternatively, golf with an English teacher allows you to enjoy an afternoon round of 9 holes. Our teachers aren't qualified golfing professionals but you will enjoy a pleasant round of golf with them and will benefit from some new golfing vocabulary too!

Accommodation Experience local life with homestay in Jersey or enjoy the convenience of the student or private accommodation.
