You may be surprised to discover that there are six golf courses in Jersey; three 18-hole championship courses and a further three 9-hole courses. At St Brelade's College we have a range of options that allow you to combine an English course with one of Jersey's many top courses:
‘Green Fee’ Only Once you are in Jersey we can happily arrange a round of golf and transport to and from one of the courses listed below. Simply inform the office of your preferred time and date, and which equipment you need. Approximate green fees and equipment hire for each course are listed below. A return taxi fare costs between £15 and £30 depending on the course. Please note that many golf courses in Jersey require credit card payment in advance.
Option 2: Golf with your English Teacher Combine a standard morning English course with an afternoon round of 9 holes at either Les Ormes or Wheatlands with one of our English teachers. While you may benefit from some new golfing vocabulary, you are unlikely to learn any good golfing techniques from any of our staff!
Option 3: Golf lessons with a PGA Professional We have teamed up with Adam Jones, a PGA professional golf instructor as Les Ormes Golf Course to provide a comprehensive afternoon golf programme – suitable for beginners or more experienced golfers. In addition to their outdoor practice areas, Les Ormes has a state of the art indoor 3D computerised system which videos your swing and can track and display shots with an accuracy of up to 1 foot at 100 yards (For more information see www.trackman.com)
